A custom blend of both Zinc and Boron that provides the added convenience of one product instead of two.
WHY USE IT?

  • Both Zinc and Boron are needed throughout the season making spoon-feeding the best approach to high-yield management of these two critical nutrients.
  • VE-V4: Only 7% of the Zinc and 6% of the Boron is needed, making planting timing a need for ZnB, but to a lesser degree. Ironically, this is when most of the Zinc has been applied in the past.
  • V6-V13: 38% of the Zinc is needed and 56% of the Boron, making side-dress applications a more appropriate time for the majority of ZnB.
  • Zinc is critical for starch and seed formation.
  • Boron is necessary during pollination in aiding in silk elongation and kernel retention.

APPLICATION & RATE: ZnB was formulated to be mixed in UAN as a soil-applied application.

  • 2x2/2x2x2: 1-2 qt./A.
  • Side Dress/Y-Drop: 1-3 qt./A.

A product with multiple uses in several crops can certainly drive adoption. But, for SideAgVantage™ Max, it is really its ability to both fit into an overall Sulfur management strategy and its ability to address specific crop challenges that make it one of our customer’s favorite solutions for higher yields! SideAgVantage™ is a UAN additive that can be used beside the row or in side dress, Y-Drop, or top dress applications.
WHY USE IT?

  • Sulfur
    • Sulfur maximizes nitrogen use efficiency.
    • It reduces N loss from leaching, volatilization and denitrification.
  • Humic Acid
    • Effective at buffering other nutrients with strong electronegativity, (Ex: Magnesium) while increasing the uptake of potassium included in the formulation
    • Improved soil structure and pore space in the band of application
  • Potassium in the most readily available form
    • Potassium Acetate requires only 23.3% soil humidity to remain soluble, ready for plant uptake. In comparison, Potassium Chloride (0-0-60) requires 85% soil humidity to remain soluble.
    • Both corn and wheat require large amounts of potassium uptake during the vegetative stages of growth when much of soil resident K is tied up due to dry soil conditions
  • Fulvic Acid
    • Fulvic Acid is known to energize soil bioactivity which results in increased nutrient utilization, specifically improving the uptake and efficiency of Phosphorus

APPLICATION & RATE:
CORN: SideAgVantage™ Max may be applied in a 2x2/2x2x2 in UAN at 1-2 gal./A. and at side dress through both middle of the row applications and Y-Drops in UAN at 1-3 gal./A.

  • 2X2/2x2x2: 1-2 gal./A.
  • Side Dress/Y-Drop: 1-3 gal./A.

WHEAT: SideAgVantage™ Max may be applied in top dressed or streamer bar UAN at 1-2 gal./A. with each Nitrogen application

Sulfur is important! It maximizes nitrogen efficiency and creates synergies with potassium and nitrogen to produce proteins essential for crop growth. It can be challenging to apply efficiently because sulfate is water soluble and moves freely with soil water, making it susceptible to loss through leaching during Spring rainfall events.
It sure would be nice if someone would make Thio-Sulfate with faster and more efficient plant uptake! Well, that’s exactly what we did! Introducing… SideMate™. SideMate™ is a high Sulfur load UAN additive that can be used beside the row or in sidedress, Y-Drop or topdress applications. SideMate™ is designed to take the place of Ammonium Thiosulfate (ATS) with several distinct advantages!
WHY USE IT?

  • It contains Sulfur in the form of Ammonium Thiosulfate to maximize nitrogen use efficiency.
  • It contains NanoBond™, NanoLiquid technology, proven to increase ROI in UAN.
  • It contains Fulvic Acid, known to energize soil bioactivity which results in increased nutrient utilization, specifically improving the uptake and efficiency of Phosphorus.
